In 2017 Lisbon was the Iberian-American Capital of Culture, gathering people from the Iberian Peninsula, Central and South America. Artists from Brazil, Equador, Colombia, Mexico, Spain and Venezuela, joined Portuguese artists in this special Festival's second edition.

The second edition of the festival it took urban art to Marvila. The Marvila neighbourhood is located in the oriental part of the city and is now chosen to be a cultural anchor for a new collection of urban art in the city periphery. The choice for this area is strongly related to the decentralisation strategy of the GAU - Urban Art Gallery and the Lisbon City Council.
